In celebration of Te Wiki o Te Reo Māori (Māori Language Week), Serko has launched a Te Reo version of Zeno Travel. Business travelers can now make a booking, view their itinerary options, and review their confirmed travel booking all in Te Reo Māori.

As the pre-eminent travel management platform for New Zealand Government and corporate organisations, this is a practical way to help Kiwis learn common phrases in a day to day workplace tool, fully embracing the goals of this year’s Māori Language Week to make the language strong.

Serko understands that TeReo Māori will only become ingrained in everyday usage if it is part of everyday New Zealand. This means it should be embedded as an option in the tools New Zealanders use every day.

By launching a Te Reo version we are helping to bring the language into commonplace situations. We are proud to be taking this leadership position in the New Zealand technology industry and hope it sets a benchmark that other companies will follow.”

– Darrin Grafton, Serko CEO.

Recommended_ItinerarySerko was founded in Aotearoa New Zealand and is committed to strengthening its indigenous heritage, having set up a number of internal initiatives to bring the Māori language and culture front-and-center across the company.

As many businesses and government entities in Aotearoa use Zeno for corporate travel, the release of Te Reo Zeno means they can also be supported in engaging with Te Reo Māori, right from their own workplace tools
