Requirements

Lead the successful delivery of complex programs of work supporting the development and expansion of our global tech platform. With strong leadership, communication and collaboration, coupled with the ability to navigate ambiguity, the Program Delivery Manager will successfully drive multiple initiatives, in a rapidly evolving environment.

What you will be doing

  • Own the planning, execution and delivery of multiple complex initiatives, ensuring adherence to timelines, budget and scope.
  • Interact with stakeholders at various levels, including senior executives, technical teams and product managers to provide updates, address concerns and align project goals with business objectives.
  • Collaborate closely with cross-functional teams involved in the software delivery lifecycle, including software engineers, product managers, quality assurance testers and deployment/operations teams, to ensure seamless project execution and delivery.
  • Identify potential risks and issues early in the project lifecycle, proactively addressing them and implementing mitigation strategies to minimize impact on project delivery.
  • Utilize project management tools/methodologies for tracking project tasks, documenting technical specifications, and managing project documentation.
  • Provide regular status reports to senior stakeholders, highlighting key milestones, budget updates, and any critical issues requiring attention.
  • Connect with project teams to assess progress, address blockers, and refine project priorities.
  • Tailor communication methods and cadence to the audience's level of seniority and interest, employing a combination of email updates, virtual meetings, and executive communications.

What you will bring

  • Demonstrated experience in both program and project management, preferably in a SaaS environment, with a track record of successfully delivering large-scale projects and initiatives, via cross-functional teams across multiple time zones and cultures.
  • Strong leadership, key stakeholder management skills, and orchestration capability in a complex technology environment
  • Deep understanding of the software delivery lifecycle (SDLC) and the roles involved, including product management, software engineering, quality assurance, and deployment/operations teams.
  • Experience in analysing and leveraging data insights to inform decision-making and drive continuous improvement initiatives.
  • Adaptability and Autonomy: Ability to work autonomously and thrive in a fast-paced, changing environment, with a passion for navigating ambiguity and driving results.
  • Strong Influencer and Communicator: Ability to effectively engage and influence stakeholders at all levels of the organisation, employing tailored communication methods and cadence to ensure alignment and transparency.
  • Planning and organisation: Proven ability to effectively plan and successfully execute complex project activities, resources and timelines to ensure successful delivery.
