June 2010 – BTTB Marketing, the publishers of Business Travel Monthly, has announced Incharge Group Pty Ltd the Winner of its 2010 Business Travel Management Award for Expense Management Services.
Incharge, a 100% Australian-owned company, is recognised for its automated expense management system. The web-based application significantly reduces the time and cost of the employee expense claim process for many organisations, large and small.
Incharge was nominated by its own customers in the Expense Management Services category, for demonstrating exceptional solutions and service. All nominations were collected in an online poll by BTTB.
One of Incharge’s nominating customers, Maree Patterson, Group Manager Treasury Operations of Allianz Australia, said, “We’re proud to recognise Incharge’s success. We constantly receive outstanding service from Incharge whose expense management system has delivered a substantial return on investment to Allianz since early 2008.”
BTTB managing director, Nigel Wardropper, presented the award to Paul Turner, Chief Software Architect of Incharge, at its recent BTTB Travel Management Awards Dinner held during its 11th annual BTTB Australia Conference and Exhibition for travel buyers and managers.
“Incharge was certainly the standout company in the Expense Management Services category. We received glowing endorsements from Incharge’s customers”, said Allan Leibowitz, Editor, Business Travel Monthly and head of the judging panel.
Incharge is the first Australian-owned company, and the first expense management system provider, to take out the award in the Expense Management Services category. The previous winners were the corporate card providers, VISA International and American Express.
“Winning this prestigious award is a huge achievement for us”, said David Hancock, Incharge’s Managing Director, whose company was also an Australian Finalist in the Global Small Business Excellence Award 2008, sponsored by Dell, Excom and the International Council for Small Business.
“Financial controllers and travel managers constantly tell us the employee expense claim process is a key area where cost and efficiency must be improved. I’m pleased our customers, who took the leap from manual to automated expense management with Incharge, have given us their biggest thumbs up yet,” Hancock added.
