Serko Joins Expert Panel at GBTA in Los Angeles To Discuss Travel Technology Trends

Auckland, 29 July 2014. Today Serko's Chief Product Officer, Tim Nichols, will join a panel of industry experts at the GBTA Conference in Los Angeles to discuss the growing importance of Online Booking Tools in the corporate travel market and the benefits of regional vs global procurement.

Running from July 26 to 30 at the Los Angeles Convention Center, the global convention typically features new technologies, world-class keynote speakers, emerging travel industry trends and this year will host around 7,000 business travel professionals from around the world on the industry’s largest expo floor.

Tim Nichols, Serko Chief Product Officer, along with a panel of other global business travel technology leaders and global travel managers,will explore how corporate travel managers are implementing online technology to spark innovation, manage costs and drive profitability. The session will explicitly demonstrate how localised technology products (online booking, reporting, expense management) built-to-scale for a global economy are the optimum solution to allow businesses to focus on their core offerings via industry-leading content and a premiere-level user experience. The session will also explore how managed travel programs can integrate multiple, region-specific technology solutions that assure success at every level without sacrificing service, data integrity or content.
