Auckland, New Zealand. 1 December 2014 – Serko Ltd. (SKO.NZ) A leader in online travel booking and expense management for business, announced today that it has partnered with Routehappy, the leader in flight ratings and amenities information to provide Serko Mobile users with comfort-related flight information.
As airlines improve and diversify their services and amenities, travellers are increasingly making purchasing decisions based on more than just flight price. Travellers today are seeking information about seat size pitch and layout, access to WiFi and power points, seat-back entertainment, aircraft quality, and trip speed; yet many current booking systems don’t tell the full story of what each flight provider offers. To transform business travel, Serko will offer mobile users access to Routehappy’s global database of flight information when Serko Mobile’s commercial trial is complete in early 2015.
The Routehappy integration will provide Serko Mobile users with a Happiness Score out of 10 for flights based on the in-flight offering. The data covers every flight worldwide and is continually updated to help users make better travel decisions and enjoy a better travel experience.
