Business Travellers Now Able To Book The Hotel Network Inventory Through Serko Online

Auckland, New Zealand. 13th October 2015 – Serko Ltd (SKO.NZ) a leader in online travel booking and expense management for business, announced today a new partnership with The Hotel Network (THN) that will give Serko Online customers the ability to search, book and pay for THN branded content through Serko’s Online Corporate Travel Booking Tool (OBT), Serko Online.

THN offers Serko Online customers instant access to more than 5,500 hotels across Australia at extremely competitive ‘pay on departure’ rates. In addition, THN also gives organisations that use Serko Online the ability to pay for accommodation ‘on account’, rather than using a credit card at the time of booking, which is an attractive proposition for organisations that prefer to centralise their procurement.

Darrin Grafton, Serko’s Chief Executive Officer said: “Adding THN to the Serko Online hotel inventory is a continuation of a major transformation in the global market for hotel rooms. Increasing our range of hotel suppliers and broadening the range of payment options, should translate to significant travel budget savings for corporates using Serko Online.”

Nick Brooke, Owner of THN said “We’re delighted to be able to offer our inventory of credit card and on-account hotels to Serko’s customer base. Serko is a leading provider of corporate online travel booking services in the region and by integrating our systems, we expect to grow our business significantly.”

Serko Online customers will be able to access THN inventory from late October 2015. Customers wishing to learn more about THN should contact their Travel Management Company.
